About The CRBWA
The Clinton/Raymond/Bolton Wastewater Authority (CRBWA) was authorized by House Bill 1762 (The Clinton/Raymond/Bolton Wastewater Authority Act) during the regular session of the 2022 Mississippi Legislature. The CRBWA is a political subdivision of the State of Mississippi and the body politic.
The area of authority is a cooperative effort within Hinds County including the areas situated within the corporate boundaries of the City of Clinton, City of Raymond, the Town of Bolton, and certain surrounding unincorporated areas.
Purpose of The CRBWA
The CRBWA is authorized to acquire, construct and operate one or more systems for the collection, transportation, treatment, and disposal of wastewater; including sewerage systems, sewage disposal systems, and industrial wastewater, in order to prevent and control the pollution of the waters of this state. The primary purpose of the CRBWA is to support a force-main pipeline system to transport treated wastewater from the treatment facilities of Clinton, Raymond, Bolton and in the future the South Central Water Association.

Board of Directors
The Board of Directors will consist of representative appointed by the Member entities based on providing at least one member on the Board based on 30% or less of the total annual flow in the wastewater system as of December 31st of the preceding year.
Presently, the City of Clinton has four representatives, Raymond – one representative, Bolton – one representative and South Central Water Association – one representative for a total of seven (7) members on the Board of Directors.
